Five Best Games Like Subway Surfers

Temple Run
Temple Run stands out as one of the original endless running games, offering players a thrilling adventure as they navigate jumps, slides, swipes, and tilt mechanics to escape from demonic monkeys while carrying a stolen rare idol from a temple. This addictive experience is available on iOS and Android, and is often credited with popularizing a new genre of mobile gaming centered around high score competition with friends and personal bests.
Gameplay in Temple Run is designed to be engaging and challenging, with sessions ranging from short bursts of 30 seconds to several minutes as players improve their skills. The goal is always the same: to reach as far as possible. This formula thrives on competition, encouraging players to compare scores with friends or strive to set new personal bests, adding a layer of depth and replayability to the game.
Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom
Sega made a brilliant decision by introducing its iconic mascot into the endless runner genre with Sonic Dash. The game proved to be a major success, leading to the development of its sequel, Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom.
Sonic Dash 2 features the familiar characters from the Sonic Boom TV show, including Sonic and his anthropomorphic friends. The game offers an exciting “Team Play” mode where players can switch between three characters, each with their own unique abilities. The courses are action-packed, and the game is filled with collectible rings, adding to the challenge and excitement.
Rail Rush
Rail Rush offers a thrilling twist on the endless runner genre, putting players in control of a speeding mine cart instead of a running character. As you navigate through caves, jungles, tombs, and other exciting environments, you must keep the cart on the rails and avoid obstacles.
To help you on your journey, you can equip your cart with power-ups that extend your survival and enhance your ability to collect gold nuggets and gems. With its fast-paced gameplay and varied environments, Rail Rush offers a unique and exciting endless running experience.
Sonic and the Black Knight
Sonic and the Black Knight offers a unique blend of Action-Adventure, Platform, and Hack-and-Slash elements, with support for both Single-player and Multiplayer modes. Developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega, the game transports players to the land of King Arthur, where Sonic must navigate through various stages using a new fighting style that utilizes the motion-sensing functionality of the Wii Remote.
Unlike traditional Sonic games, Sonic and the Black Knight features gameplay similar to Sonic Unleashed, with a focus on speed and combat. Each stage is filled with townspeople that players can interact with or harm to fulfill certain requirements. The game is played from a third-person perspective, with the player’s actions being judged at the end of each stage based on their performance.
Players can run, jump, and attack enemies and objects to earn points and progress through the game. With its fast-paced gameplay, detailed environments, and superb graphics, Sonic and the Black Knight offers a unique and engaging experience for fans of the Sonic series.
Gravity Guy

Man Utd fans name player they never want to see again after ‘disgraceful defending’ in Newcastle defeat
Manchester United FC supporters were left furious after defender Tyrell Malacia was involved in the sequence that led to Newcastle United FC’s dramatic late winner.
Despite being reduced to ten men, Newcastle snatched all three points thanks to a stunning stoppage-time strike from substitute William Osula. The forward surged forward on a powerful run before bending a superb left-footed effort into the corner to seal the victory.
Malacia had only just come on in the 85th minute, replacing Noussair Mazraoui. However, the Dutch full-back struggled to deal with Osula’s movement in the decisive moment. The Newcastle attacker’s quick stepovers left Malacia off balance and briefly facing the wrong direction before the shot was fired past goal.

The moment sparked heavy criticism from United fans online. One supporter wrote that Malacia should never start another game for the club, questioning the quality of the defending in the build-up to the goal. Another fan said the appearance should be his last for United, arguing the club should never have signed him and wondering why he was even on the bench. Others echoed the frustration, with one supporter saying they were speechless after watching the defender’s reaction to the move, while another insisted the substitution itself made little sense.
Malacia endured a difficult period before returning to the pitch. The left-back missed the entire 2023–24 campaign because of a serious knee injury and only made his comeback in November 2024. He then spent the second half of last season on loan at PSV Eindhoven.
After returning to Old Trafford, Malacia initially found himself out of the squad and was reportedly included in Ruben Amorim’s so-called “bomb squad” alongside players such as Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Antony. With no transfer materialising during the summer window, he was eventually brought back into first-team training toward the end of September.
The appearance at St James’ Park was only his second for the senior side this season, following a brief cameo against Newcastle at Old Trafford on Boxing Day. The nine-cap Netherlands international is also approaching the end of his contract, which expires this summer.
The match itself burst into life during first-half stoppage time. Jacob Ramsey was sent off after receiving a second yellow card for simulation following a challenge from goalkeeper Senne Lammens.

Moments later Newcastle were awarded a penalty when Bruno Fernandes tripped Anthony Gordon inside the box. Gordon stepped up and converted from the spot to give the hosts the lead.
United responded quickly, with Casemiro heading home Fernandes’ free-kick deep into first-half stoppage time to level the score.
The visitors pushed for a winner after the break, but it was Osula who produced the decisive moment with a memorable strike in the 90th minute.
The victory lifted Newcastle above Brighton & Hove Albion FC into 12th place in the table, while Manchester United remained third but missed the chance to strengthen their hold on a UEFA Champions League position.
