Alplays is a sports aggregation platform. We take intellectual property rights seriously. This page explains how we handle copyright infringement claims under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.

What Alplays Displays

Alplays aggregates publicly available football data including match scores, standings, fixture schedules, news headlines, and video highlight links. We source this content through third-party APIs and publicly accessible feeds. We do not broadcast, host, or stream any licensed broadcast content, and we do not claim ownership over any league logos, club badges, player likenesses, or broadcast footage displayed on this platform.

All trademarks, league identities, club crests, and related intellectual property remain the exclusive property of their respective rights holders including but not limited to FIFA, UEFA, the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, and their affiliated clubs.

How We Handle Notices

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:

Acknowledge receipt of your notice within a reasonable timeframe.

Review the claim against the content identified in your notice.

Remove or disable access to the content if it is found to be infringing.

Notify the uploader or content source of the takedown where applicable.

Keep a record of all notices received in compliance with DMCA requirements.

Please note that Alplays primarily links to or embeds content from third-party sources. In cases where infringing content is hosted by a third party, we will remove our link or embed and direct you to the appropriate platform to pursue your claim further.

Counter Notifications

If you believe content was removed from Alplays due to a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter notification. Your counter notice must include:

Your full name, address, phone number, and email address.

Identification of the content that was removed and where it appeared before removal.

A statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a result of mistake or misidentification.

A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of your local federal district court.

Your physical or electronic signature.

We will review valid counter notices and may restore the content within 10–14 business days unless the original claimant notifies us they have filed a court action.

Repeat Infringer Policy

Alplays maintains a strict policy against repeat copyright infringement. Any user or contributor found to be a repeat infringer will have their access to the platform terminated at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to take further legal action where appropriate.

Abuse of the DMCA Process

Submitting a DMCA notice with false or misleading information is a serious legal matter. Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that content is infringing may be held liable for damages, including costs and legal fees incurred by the alleged infringer and by Alplays. We will not tolerate fraudulent or retaliatory takedown attempts and reserve the right to pursue remedies against bad-faith claimants.
